Back on the GC (2008) after nearly 30 yrs in Darwin! Found a great fella lurking near a keg so married him. Had a ball but fantastic to be back and semi-retired (nursing 3 days a week). Have hooked up with a group of gels (Jo Scheelbeck, Colleen Trembath, Julie Davidson, Joy Hughes, Fiona Tully, Gayle Dutton, Delia Haney: most with different surnames now) and we do anything that involves food and champers! Anyone who knows us and wants to join in, send me an email or give me a call on 5520 1101 or 0417 418 299. Boys always welcome! See you in the surf at North Burleigh, I''m the one with the pink surf mat and unbelievably grey hair! love to you all sue c

Hi guys - have never run into anyone since the 80's. Have 3 kids 7 grandkids with one more on the way! Have travelled and lived all around Aussie, but now life is great in a small town west of Mackay - just like Currumbin Valley when I was a kid. Been nursing since I left school - would love to hear from anyone!

Hi, I have been on the move a lot since 1974. Worked in Brisbane for 4 years, tried studying at QIT (now QUT) but did not do well. Went travelling overseas from 1979 to 1981, then returned to Qld and travelled again, ending up in Thursday Island for a few years, fishing. I then went to Tasmania for 3 yearsto do a fisheries degree, 1985-87, and then got a job as an Australian Volunteer in the Cook Islands in 1988. I stayed there for 4 years, got married, and then moved to Fiji, with our 2 daughters, for 3 years while my wife was studying environmental studies at the University of the South Pacific. I did my Masters while there, and also worked with FAO for a while Had a 3rd daughter while there. Since then I have remained working in the Pacific Islands, though there were 3 years in Bangkok working with UNEP, and 15 months in the Maldive with UNDP on tsunami recovery after the 2004 Boxing Day tsunami. I am now in Samoa, not working at the moment, though my wife Anna is so we are not starving. We have 4 daughters now (2007), 19, 16, 14, and 10, and 1 grandson 6 months old. I get back to Australia once a year or so, last trip in September 2007, sadly as my mother passed away. Thats about it, turned 50 this year, and sometimes I feel it. Need glasses to read this small print for example. All for now Kelvin
