[Attended 40th Anniversary Reunion in 2003]

Have been a million miles since Miami High, but would like to catch up with a few old faces from the past, and see what everyone has been up to. I have 2 children and 3 Grandchildren with more to come! Never thought I'd make it! I have been divorced, widowed and now married to a fantastic man for the last 10 years. We live on the central coast of NSW, but the rest of my family are still on the Gold Coast including my son, Shannon and NO 1 Grandson, Kaleb 6. My daughter Trisha-Marie, lives on the Central Coast as well, with Grandson #2, Blake also 6 and Grand-daughter Ciara-Rose (Rosie for short) is 2 1/2. I am a very proud Grandma.

Worked at Williams McEwans at West Burleigh till 1981 and then moved to Telstra have been with them ever since worked in Carins as well as Brisbane now living in Canberra With my wife and two childern

I attended Miami High in 1973, (grade 10). I went on to finish senior at Aspley High school, followed by degrees at Grifith, Canberra and Australian national Universities. After some time serving as an Army Officer I entered the Information technology industry and now architect large computer/information systems. I fondly remember playing Shylock in the Miami High production of the Merchant of Venice, and the relaxed atmosphere of the school.

I went on to have a military career, moved to Canada and have been a businessman for 20+ years.

Married for 16 yrs, working in the management sector of retail, with 1 son 24 & 1 daughter19, living in a semi rural lifestyle, wtih horses, my husbands motor bikes. life is never dull !

Since leaving school I travelled extensively. I was married for 10 years and have one daughter. I am in my final year of a Bachelor of Education (Primary School). Never too late! I can't wait to get back into the classroom but this time as a teacher!

Left School at the end of '75. Worked for Gold Coast Milk in various rolls for 20 years & then moved onto Colgate-Palmolive where I stayed for 8 years. Live at Tamborine with my 11 year old son. We both enjoy competing in Championship Drag Racing at Willowbank.

Left Miami High in 1975, worked Mcdonald's Mermaid Beach; Shiellls Engineering; Kmart Pacific Fair prior to joining QPS in 1980. Resided Gold Coast until 2002 where I was transfeered to Airlie Beach.

Living in Helensvale, happily married 23 years with 2 high school children, working Brisbane south side in medical electronics (assisted reproductive technology), interests include traveling, high voltages and more recently golf. Still keep in contact with some friends from school.

Currently GM, Australia Pacific Technical College, based in Fiji. Previouslly Pro Vice Chancellor, Charles Darwin University. Previously of the Northern Territory for 17 years, China for 3 years, Bahrain 1 year now Fiji.

Married High School sweetheart. Have 2 beautiful adult daughters. Divorced High School sweetheart. Work as Medical Receptionist. Live in Coomera. Have stayed in touch with lots of old friends but always want to here from more.

Currently living in sin in Townsville - been there since 1982. Have partner and 2 primary school children - I am a geriatric mother!! Worked in various jobs since uni - using and not using my degree - curently a Commonwealth Public Servant as can no longer work in the sun.

Went to art college in Brisbane. Moved to Adelaide and worked on stage as a mechanist (theatre technician). Became a draftsman, then a signwriter, now a caricaturist. Married with 1 daughter.

Married for 42 years. Have two children and 3 grandsons. Live outside Cairns.

Golden Jubilee was a great catch up. Still training and have a dojo at Currumbin (Quinntessential Combat Centre) if you or your little'uns want to come and join in! Life goes on with 2 kids at high school keeping me company as well as keeping me busy. Look me up on FB! :)
