1969 Alumni

Ross Colley has a desire to reconnect with any former classmates from my years at Miami State High in the grade of 8A4 in the year 1968 and grade of 9S1 in the year 1969. I currently reside in the coastal Victorian town of Portland in Australia and my wife and I own a music and book shop in the town. We have 2 sons [eldest lives at Warrnambool and youngest at Cairns]. Interests are music on LP record, technical books and local and o/seas travel when time permits. Would very much enjoy the opportunity to one day attend a reunion with all former classmates.

Married living at Bethania. 2 teenagers. Work as a Teacher Aide at Waterford State School. Still keep in contact with my best friend from years 6 - 10.

Have 2 beautiful adult daughters. Am a qualified Midwife & Naturopath attending home births.

Office Management Contractor to Rocky Point Sugar Mill, near Beenleigh, since 2000. Had prior 32 years in Office Management for Professional firms of Bells, Solicitors, Primrose Couper Cronin Rudkin, Solicitors, and Herron Todd White, Property Valuers. Married Karen Jeffs in 1974, and had 3 daughters, All 3 daughters are married and I have 4 grandchildren. Re-married Vicky Hartley in 1998, becoming a care parent for her 2 children aged 8 & 5. We currently live at Bahrs Scrub near Beenleigh. Became a Minister for Jehovah's Witnesses in 1979, and still currently serve. Diagnosed with non-hodgkins lymphoma in 1997, had several bouts of treatment, with last stem cell transplant in May 2003. Currently in remission.

Married with 4 children, still live on the Gold Coast.

I became a Baker and Pastry Cook. Married with 5 children & 10 Grand Children. Owned 2 bakeries and now ready to retire. Living back on the Coast. Enjoying Life.

I went to Miami High from Yr 8 to Yr 11. I left to go Nursing at Southport Hospital, then married in 1972. I have four grown children of which 3 are now married, and six grandchildren. Currently I am a Criminologist working with students studying at Griffith University online, I still live on the Gold Coast after 10 yrs in Brisbane with my husband Brian at Qantas.

I went walkabout in 1976 - destination Montreal, Quebec, Canada, for the 1976 summer Olympics. Temporarily living in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. (since 1977) Missed 40 year reunion in 2003 would like to hear of the next one.

Attended Miami High 1964-1969. Lived in Mermaid Beach till 2021, then moved to Palm Beach. I have worked as a Geologist for many years. I am married. Happy to live on the Gold Coast. I still enjoy surfing.
